Updates: This section tells you what I have added to the site. About Riot Grrrl: What is a riot grrrl? This section of the site describes that. Click it to find out all about the riot grrrl movement. Why Riot?: This section tells you why you should be a riot grrrl or if your wondering if you are a riot grrrl then read this section & if you agree with most of it then, yes, you ARE a riot grrrl. Bands: This section is about all of the riot grrrl bands out there. It contains a little info on the bands & a pic of the band. Quotes: I gathered up a bunch of quotes from various females, even non-riot grrrls. I also have a few quotes from men that I found interesting. Herstory: This part of the site is dedicated to all the riot grrrls & riot boys out there. This is where you can submit a rant, story, poetry, etc. (Anything relating to riot grrrl/riot boy/feminism) To submit something like this go to the 'submit' part of the site. If you are sending in quotes, articles, & other stuff to help with the site then herstory is NOT the place for that, but the 'submit' form is also known to send that stuff too. Words: This section is a collection of various articles relating to the riot grrrl movement. Riot Boy: This part is dedicated to all the riot boys out there. This gives info on the riot boys & helps the riot grrrl understand the riot boy movement. Activism: This section lists ways in which you can get involved/become an activist. Feminism: This section tells a little bit about feminism & it also lists reasons why I am a feminist. Self-Defense: This section is an email I received called "Rape Safe Info", I had to share it on this site. It tells how rapists think about selecting a victim & tells you how to protect yourself. Women's Issues: This section lists issues dealing with society & women. Important Females: This section is dedicated to the females I find to be interesting & heroes in my opinion. Some people may disagree with some of them, but that is ok. It's my opinon anyway. Biographies of ALL of my heroes.
